Last week I said I would make music mixes for anyone who gave me a theme. [ profile] greenpixidust asked for a dream mix.

And a meme!

#1. Open your music and put it on shuffle.
#2. Write down your favorite line from the first ten songs.
#3. Let your friends list guess the song title and artist without looking it up anywhere.

Songs this way... )

For your listening enjoyment...

A short play mix for those days when you just want to lock yourself in the bathroom and cry.

It's kind of heavy on the musicals, but that seems to be the only place a girl can sing about feeling bad and it's not about lost love.

The first one I made awhile back but never got around to posting, the second I made after I did the Album Cover meme. Enjoy!

Hot Topic Is Not Puck Rock & Laughing at Someone Else's Mistakes )

Comment with a theme, and I'll make you a music mix. Example: music to listen to while eating nachos, music for autumn or music to be raging mad to. Post this in your blogs and journals and create your own playlists for people. It's a way to share music and expose yourself to more.

Also, first line challenge. Music player to random and go, skip the instrumentals and the song that have the title in the first line. Then I post 'em and you guess 'em.

Random Facts:
I have 3,147 songs that equal 185 hours and 28 minutes of music. That means I could go for seven and a half days and not have a repeat.
nestar: (Good Golly Gosh!)
I was talking to [personal profile] moony_blues the other day and she said that she had never heard Nina Simone OR Edith Paif!!!

I joked that I would have to make her a mix, and since both women were very sad and soulful sounding, and because I live to pun, I would call it "Moody Blues"

Yeah, well there's that one and there's also a more upbeat one called "In The Mood"

I might put up a folder of all my Nina, Edith, Lena, Billie, ect. later in the week.
nestar: (mrs wyatt cain)

Song can be found here. Most are .mp3 but a few are .wma. Both play wonderfully in Winamp.
