nestarAfter talking with my course coordinator and several other students, and a LOT of praying, I think my best course of action is to switch over to independent study. This will give me more time to finish the course work, but I will change from a Texas Agency candidate to a Portfolio-Evaluated-Process (or PEP) student in regards to the NARM exam (the big exam that gets you the final licensing approval).
So more work on the practical side but more time to do it; while getting less stress on the educational side - I'd call that a fair trade.
It also means that the restrictions fora preceptor are loosened, so I'm going to start calling midwives I may have had to pass over before.
