OMG! I want to marry Michio Kaku and have his astute, witty, intelligent, articulate babies.

He was on FoxNews this morning talking about the LHC. The host asked about the doomsday hype. i.e.:  the back holes will eat the Swiss Alps, the black holes will open new dimentions and the world will end, ect.

Kaku's answer?

"I call it the Sarah Palin affect. The more the hype machine smears this the more simpathy it gets." (Quoted from my memory)

I think the LHC is pretty cool. And hey, the world hasn't come to an end! (though my theory of it tearing holes in space/time/reality hasn't happened :( Damn Science Fiction for giving me thoughts)
