Post the Ninety-Sixth - Voting and Word Count

Worked the polls yesterday, which means I woke up at 3:45 (cus I was scared I'd miss my 4:30 alarm) , sat in a hard plastic chair in a freezing cold/frying hot fire department for 16 HOURS, then crashed when I got home.

But even with all the hours of doing nothing the NaNo word count sits at 6,896.

Okay, I'll really have to get my butt in gear by the write in. But now I must fly, ballet class is calling and I soooooo need to stretch.

Post the Ninety-Seventh - The Shat hits the radio

Coming home from ballet class I'm flipping through the radio and suddenly hear, "Baa Dum Da da da da Baa Dum" and all, "Star Trek theme!".
Then I find out it's the Man Cow show and MC has Roddenberry Jr. on the line. I feel so sorry for the guy, MC is jumping all over him 'cus the new movie doesn't have Shatner in it.

Okay, the only connection JR has to Trek is "Oh, that the show my parents did." Jr has never even met Shatner.
So far the interview was going okay, MC has a very harsh style, but it broke down in to a fan boy fight when Jr said that one of his favorite episodes was "The Cage". (The one with Cap Pike)
And MC almost had a seizure when Jr said that his family didn't own Star Trek, his Dad sold it to Peramount in the 80's.

But then MC played one of Shatner's songs, so that was cool.
