Post the Ninety-Seventh - The Shat hits the radio

Coming home from ballet class I'm flipping through the radio and suddenly hear, "Baa Dum Da da da da Baa Dum" and all, "Star Trek theme!".
Then I find out it's the Man Cow show and MC has Roddenberry Jr. on the line. I feel so sorry for the guy, MC is jumping all over him 'cus the new movie doesn't have Shatner in it.

Okay, the only connection JR has to Trek is "Oh, that the show my parents did." Jr has never even met Shatner.
So far the interview was going okay, MC has a very harsh style, but it broke down in to a fan boy fight when Jr said that one of his favorite episodes was "The Cage". (The one with Cap Pike)
And MC almost had a seizure when Jr said that his family didn't own Star Trek, his Dad sold it to Peramount in the 80's.

But then MC played one of Shatner's songs, so that was cool.

Wow, the interviewer didn't know Paramount owns Star Trek? *snickers* What a moron. He obviously isn't as big a fan as he'd like to think. And actually, The Cage is considered a pretty good episode as far as I know. I always liked it.

The other thing is, poor Roddenberry Jr. No reason to give HIM such a hard time. Like he has anything to do with Star Trek. And the fact is, Shatner hasn't been in a ST movie in YEARS. James Doohan and Deforest Kelly are both dead, so it's not like they can to a reunion movie anyway.

Which song did he play of Shatner's? The most hilarious song I think I've ever heard is his rendition of "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds!"

But LSD is a good one, so is anything Nemoy sings.
