I just finish "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo".
The third day after I started I was in the back room when the trailer for the movie came on.
Now that I've finished the book I totally get why that had to have Daniel Craig play Mikael - I mean, the man had women dropping their panties left, right and center.
Now this book was really two mysteries in one, but I had absolutely no interest in the mobster/libel part. It was as if the author took 150 pages just to set up the plot (I don't know if it's something about November, but this just screamed "NaNo book!" to me).
Now the main mystery - a 40 year old "locked room" disappearance of a young girl - was fascinating. There was even one night, when I had gotten to the part where Mikael started to piece everything together, that I stayed up past 3:00am reading.
