Since I got so much writing done last weekend thanks to fic_rush_48 today I'm going to do a mini rush!

If anyone else is writing this weekend and wants to join in my madness feel free to post an update in one of the comment threads below.

In this hour I wrote 473 words, 140 of which finally finished off the meeting scene.

Not much writing. I had breakfast, then got a call to meet a client who has a concern about her 4 day old. This meeting will roll over into hour 3 - boo.

And I just wrote another 300. That makes seven hundred. :) With the 700 I wrote yesterday, I'm up to 1400 this weekend. That's more than I've written since I got Lula three weeks ago. :) The only thing is I'm having trouble getting the story started. (I'm at 7000 words, and nothing has started yet--I'm doing the big bang and not the little one, so it's okay, but still...)

Okay, so the quick check-up turned into brunch, but I'm back and I won't need to eat until dinner!

Now I'm off to kill Dreilide! (Hey, he's been sick for a while, it's just nature taking its course)

Another 100 words, another person dead.

And its not like I'm writing a slasher horror story or something - it's a gothic romance! But all of that back story has to come from somewhere.

Maybe I should play a game or do something lighthearted , like laundry, for a while.

I killed two characters in the last hour.

I knew that they had to die (one from a lingering sickness, the other from a horrible accident) but - wow! I just really invested myself in the scenes. I can only hope that the people who read them are as touched as I am.

So supper happened and that was awesome.

There's talk of a movie in a little bit, but I might just bring my laptop down and write while I'm watching that.

Wow! You were a writing machine today. I stopped somewhere around noon because real life got in the way. Mostly, I made cookies, and had to take care of the puppy, and my mom came for a visit, that kind of stuff. Still, I got about a thousand words today, which I think is awesome. When added to the seven hundred from yesterday, that's almost two thousand words in two days. That's not Nano productivity, but, for me when it's not Nano, that's pretty darn good. :)

So the pretty English boys won (dude, Ioan Gruffudd, Benedict Cumberbatch, AND Rufus Sewell!). But I have manged to write 71 words and I just switched my sheets into the dryer, so I can't go to bed for another hour even if I wanted to.
