Avengers
I watched Iron Man 1 and 2 on Sunday - wow, in the rush of "OMG! Clint/Natasha 4ever!" I forgot how much I ship Happy/Natale. That whole bit in the car, then his insistence on helping with the attack... he's like a puppy who just wants her to love him.

Stargate
So right around Christmas I started watching Stargate: SG1; I am now halfway through season two and I have questions.

Twice now Teal'c has gone back to his home planet to rescue his wife and son (the second time even bringing them back to Earth just to get them away from the BigBad) yet as soon as that bout (or should I say episode) of danger is over with he sends them back - WHY?!

If BigBad can kidnap and brainwash your son once, what would keep him from doing it again? Really, just bring the family over and move Teal'c into family housing.


Hunger Games
I saw a promo still from the new movie and my first thought was "who is that creeper breathing on Katness", then I found out it was Finnick and I was sad. When I read the book I pictured Finnick kind of like LL Cool J, but with a swimmer's build (Annie I thought of as a young Halie Berry, and the old lady who takes her place as the grandma from Mulan).

Second:
First there was the commercial with the hamsters in the car and now cats are selling subs... I DON'T UNDERSTAND THIS!!!!!

Third:
Last night I did an ice cream run and as I was paying the radio started to play "Quite Playin' Games With My Heart" (side note: the check out girl and I both started mouthing the words, then saw each other and got embarrassed.). Now I remember when this song first came out and all the hysteria around it - 14 YEAR AGO!!!

The really sad part... it was the Flashback Song!!!

Sunday evening ABC will be airing  "The Cutting Edge" (which is teh awesome!), followed by "The Cutting Edge 2" and, wait for it... "The Cutting Edge 3".

For the love of  god, WHY?!

Why must the desecration, exploitation and violation of one of the best movies ever continue?

WHY?!

And why must a part of me immediately go, "Oh! Let's watch!". (Don't worry, that part was quickly put to death)

I get that TV is about entertainment, but why?
