Last week I saw "One Day" with Anne Hathaway and there was one part where she had this cute pixie cut.

And it reminded me of Audrey Hepburn.

And my hair has just been annoying me lately, but I don't know if I really want to go that short...

or if I'd even look good with a pixie cut...

or bangs...

Gha! But the hair is so annoying I'm ready to just grab the first pair of scissors I can find and hack it off so it isn't flopping around.

On this day we should look around, wonder and cry out in rage that we have let our country fall so far. No matter the party, our leaders have taken from us far more then King George ever did and we have allowed it. Let the bravery of the past inspire us today to stand up and once again declare that are free.

Okay, so the thing I thought was an in grown hair on my leg - NOT!

Nope, it was a flea bite.

My cat has fleas, isn't that awesome, and they are now biting me.

I think it's time for the cat to go.

I got the laptop back from Circuit City on Friday, but yesterday afternoon I got the Vista "Blue Screen of Death". There was something about values being not equal and an improper signature, so I took back to the green shirts.

Their computers were down!!!

They took my name and phone number and said they'd call me.

Say it with me, GHAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today there is a rally in Albany in opposition to A10942, bill to strengthen the mandatory vaccinations that are in place and "to require that children be immunized with [any future] vaccines approved and recommended by the United States Public Health Services."

This is bill would rip away both the rights of parents caring for their children and all "college students who are registered to physically attend ... one or more credit bearing classes".

But, you say, vaccines are there to protect us!

In 1920 Dr. Charles Higgins petitioned the President to abolish vaccinations for the Armed Forces due to the high rate of sickness and the possiblity of death.

Please, pass this on, and any one living in New York, call your assembly-person and tell them to vote "No" for A10942.

Another reason Fox sucks, "House" is coming back on Monday nights.

I already have three things to watch that night, and "House" has gotten stupid, maybe I'll just skip it.

Okay, a recap of the last week.

Friday(15):big fight with my Mom in the afternoon, "Romeo & Juliet" in the evening.

Saturday(16): Leave the house at 6:00am, get to Ottawa by 10:30. Lunch with Tracey at 12:00. Stars On Ice at 7:00. Leave Ottawa 10:30, get home 2:00am.

Sunday(17):Spent all day at a health fair.

Monday(18):Class with Karen.

Tuesday(19):Cleaning the house, Library board meeting.

Wednesday(20):Classes in Ilion. (My longest workday of the week)

Thursday(21):Make tapes for pre-ballets. Track down costume order. Try to talk to the church I'm renting for the show, no luck. Classes in Rome.

Friday(22): More calls. Pick a few hours of work with Dad. Taking photos in Rome for the health fair. Out with Kati.

Saturday(23):Found speakers that work with my laptop. First group practice. Now it was only two hours, but getting 22 girl to do the same thing at the same time made it seem a LOT longer.

Sunday(24): Make brownies for the bake sale. Sisters soccer game. Set up for the show this weekend that I'm working as house manager for.

And I wonder why I feel like I've been run over. I still need to write up the review for the two shows, update the web site, get the next chapter of UMH written (yes I have been working on it!), get four dances finished (if the girls would show up to class), work out someone to video the show, get the flowers worked out, do something to get Rachel Scott to stay still, fold my clothes (I've been dressing out of my basket for two weeks and it shows),do the finishing on the solo costumes, and about twenty other things I can't remember right now.

So, I've been planing my dance studios end-of-year show: getting the hall pinned down, ordering the costumes, writing 16 dances, teaching 16 dances, getting people to help backstage, answering the same questions from 9 different Moms. Plus, I'm making costumes for a community theater group, I had to miss a meeting to watch my sisters. Then I had a guy say that he wanted me to make a matching costume for him and his "lady" for the Renn Fair season, I think "money is good" so I say yes. He stands me up twice so forget him. He can put on a sack and have people throw garbage at him. It would fit with the times.

Yeah, so I have all this going on, plus I haven't been feeling good the past week, so I haven't even looked at a newspaper. A girl in one of my classes comes in and asks me about the Terri Schiavo case, and here I am "Who's Terri Schiavo?" The girl was 11 and knows more about whats going on in the world then I do. Sad.
